Assessment 1

Body Comp + Results

A scientifically accurate assessment that provides detailed data about your body through 12 measurements. It works by measure adipose tissue a research proven sites that only DEXA (CT) Scan or Ultrasound can verify. 20% more accurate than Bioelectric Impedance Analysis (BIA), and is not sensitive to hydration levels. All readings are specific to the individual, allowing exercise specialist to better design an accurate health and wellness program.

Assessment 2

Posture/Functional Movement/Motor Control

The movement assessment allows our exercise specialists to observe human movement system impairments, including muscular imbalances (length and strength deficits) and altered recruitment strategies. The functional movement screen is not intended to diagnose orthopedic problems but rather to demonstrate opportunities for improved movement in individuals.

Resting Metabolic Rate

Resting metabolic rate (RMR) testing shows how many calories your body burns at rest, giving you the data you need to plan weight loss, gain or maintenance. This non invasive, 15 minute test calculates gas exchange (using your breath) via indirect calorimetry which provides us or our nutrition partners an accurate estimate of your total daily caloric needs.

Vo2 Max/Anaerobic Threshold

VO2 max, also known as maximal oxygen uptake, is the measurement of the maximum amount of oxygen a person can utilize during intense exercise. It is a common measurement used to establish the aerobic endurance of an athlete prior to or during the course of training.

How It Works

Synergy with your doctor

We work in conjunction with your doctor by first contacting them to obtain pertinent information concerning your condition/ injury. We document all training sessions and submit monthly medical progress reports to your physician.

Musculoskeletal Evaluation

We perform a scientific 12-point musculoskeletal screening, a mobility test, as well as an overall fitness & conditioning assessment. This allows us to thoroughly ascertain, and properly recommend, the most effective course of action.

Results-based protocols

Based on the results from your initial evaluation, we create a specific medical exercise program that safely accelerates your improvement, alleviates your pain, corrects posture alignment, and restores your overall sense of well-being.

Medical Coverage

MedFit Xtension™ is covered by some Medical Health Insurers as well as your HSA. Once the evaluation and program has been determined, we submit all necessary information to your insurance company for you.

Options to suit you

Depending on the results of your evaluation, we’ll recommend the optimal program for you and provide you with a clear path forward. We offer 45, & 60 minute private & semi-private sessions. In most cases, the Xtension program lasts 1-3 months.
